How can I change user permissions for a new manager?
If the Manager is a new user for Clarity365, create the details for the user and then select the user permissions.
To promote an already existing user within the Clarity365 system, please choose the user you wish to update and edit their details. In the Manage Role sub-section, you will be able to promote/demote the user as necessary, providing them with more/less access to your Clarity365 system.
Below are what we define Charge In & Charge Out rates to be in Clarity365.
A Charge In rate is the amount the employee is paid for internal work (eg their normal hourly salary).
A Charge Out rate is the amount the customer is charged for the employees hourly or daily work.
Why do I have to add an hourly & daily rate?
When setting up a user you will need to add both an hourly and professional daily rate.
This is for use with our invoicing module, to avoid timesheets being added in error with no charge rate.
If your user has no hourly or professional daily charge rate, please enter a value such as £0.01 which will show as obviously incorrect when creating an invoice.
How can I add my Accountant to Clarity365?
You can add an Accountant to your Clarity365 system in the same way that you would add any new user.
The only difference is you use the Add Accountant tab instead of adding a new user. Clarity365 will then know that the user you are creating is an Accountant and so will provide user privileges accordingly.
