How can I assign specific employees to a customer?
Please note, this method works the same for both customers and suppliers.
To assign specific employees to a new customer, please fill out the details of the employee as you normally would, and when you get to the option to assign employees, a list will come up with all your current available employees. Tick the employees you wish to assign to a customer and click save and only the employees you have assigned to your new customer will receive their information.
To assign specific employees to an already existing customer, please choose to edit the details of the customer and assign employees in the same way as described above. Click save to tell Clarity365 to remember the changes made.
Why is a user not showing to assign to a customer?
The user may not have activated their account yet by clicking the link in their activation email.
You can check a user is active by going to User Management > User Setup. If your user is active and you still cannot assign them, please contact support.
Can I change the charge rates for each customer?
Yes, as well as setting 'default' charge rates for each user, you can also change these for each customer.
You can change these when assigning your users to the customer, simply click 'edit' next to the user, or to change multiple users rates click 'Edit All Users' and select the ones you would like to edit.
