Querying or Declining a Timesheet

User permissions required: Owner, Process Administrator, Manager or Project Manager

Querying a timesheet: 

  1. Go to Main Navigation > Time Management > Authorise Timesheets and click the Authorisation tab
  2. Click the Details sub-tab (below the Authorisation tab)
  3. Use the Authorisation Filters by typing in the fields to narrow down your search results
  4. Click Search
  5. Find the timesheet you would like to query using the Expand icons to expand the lines. This will allow you to drill deeper into each individual timesheet
  6. Click the clipboard icon on the left-hand side to View the relevant timesheet. A pop-up will appear with the Timesheet Summary details on
  7. Click Query
  8. Enter the reason for querying the timesheet for example - timesheet not assigned to a customer
  9. Click Submit Query to send your query to the user
  10. An email will be sent to the user letting them know the timesheet has been queried

Please Note, the user can reply to your query in Clarity365. In order to view this, you will need to view the Timesheet Summary to see the conversation history.

Declining a timesheet:

  1. Go to Main Navigation >Time Management > Authorise Timesheets
  2. Click the Authorisation tab
  3. Click the Details sub-tab (below the Authorisation tab)
  4. Use the Authorisation Filters by typing in the fields to narrow down your search results
  5. Click Search
  6. Find the timesheet you would like to decline using the Expand icons to expand the lines. This will allow you to drill deeper into each individual timesheet
  7. Click the clipboard icon on the left-hand side to View the relevant timesheet. A pop-up will appear with the Timesheet Summary details on
  8. Click Decline
  9. Enter the reason for declining the timesheet for example - timesheet not assigned to a customer
  10. Click Submit Decline to set the timesheet as declined
  11.  An email will be sent to the user letting them know the timesheet has been queried
