How Do I Pay My Company's Shareholders in Clarity365?
-
Clarity365 allows you to mark that you have paid your shareholders by calculating your company's current dividends that are available to be distributed.
Please navigate to Main Navigation > Accounting Management > Dividends and select the Manage Dividends tab.
Clarity365 will display your current available dividends and allows you to select how much you wish to distribute. Please select the figure in the Dividend to be Distributed section. Click Calculate to tell Clarity365 to start the process of distributing the dividends you have told Clarity365 to.
From here you can select the payment date, add any comments and edit the dividend breakdown between Shareholders.
Please note that Clarity365 will have already brought the current shareholder data across from the rest of the Dividend module with default figures being inputted. You can edit these figures by selecting a Shareholder and editing the figures. Alternatively please manage the Shareholder Dividends in the Company Register tab.
Click Pay to tell Clarity365 to distribute the figures you have inputted to the Shareholders.

How Do I Add a New Currency?
-
If your company trades internationally, you may not always want to input income or outflow in GBP. Clarity365 allows you to add new currencies to better suit your business.
Go to Main Navigation > Accounting Management > Exchange Rates and select Add New Currency.
From here, select the currency you wish to add from the drop down list and input the current exchange rate value.
Please note that you will be required to update the exchange rate manually. To do this, you will have to edit your currency.
By clicking Save, when inputting any costs, you will be able to change the currency used in the exchange and Clarity365 will be able to convert this cost from the cost in the selected currency to the GBP for Summary data.

How Do I Edit a Currency in Clarity365?
-
Editing a currency works the same way as adding a new currency. However this will only work with currencies that your Clarity365 already uses.
Go to Main Navigation > Accounting Management > Exchange Rates and select Edit Exchange Rate.
From here you can edit any current currency used by Clarity365 from the drop down list, and changing the Exchange Rate Unit Value.
Select Save to ensure that any changes made are stored by Clarity365 and apply to future uses of the selected currency.
