Adding an Absence

You can submit absences using the Clarity365 for Mobile app.

Please note, you must have a wi-fi connection in order to submit an absence. However if you submit an absence while offline, the absence will be saved so that you can submit it once you have an internet connection. For more information regarding offline mode and synchronization, please see our Settings guide by clicking here.

 

Adding an Absence:

1. Tap on Absence icon on the dashboard

2. Click New in the top right-hand corner of the screen

3. Add a description - e.g. 'Sick with the flu'

4. Choose Daily or Custom type and add the date(s) of the absence

5. Choose a reason from the drop-down list - this must be the closest to your description so following the example above you would choose Short Term Illness

6. You can upload a supporting file by either taking a picture using Camera or choosing from your existing photos using Album or Library - this could be a doctor's note for example

7. Click Submit to send the absence for authorisation for approval
